Do you have Record Enabled on the track?
How is the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filters set up? By default only SysEx is enabled for both Record and Thru.
Dear, of course record is enabeled…I allready tried several midi settings with no result…maybe there’s a solution by setting Cubase back to the original settings (factory)?

Is there any reason, why the ‘All MIDI Inputs’ option is disabled on the Komplete Kontrol A61 MIDI In port?
I’m also wondering, why Monitor is disabled on the track.
And could you also provide a screenshot of the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter, please?
I’ve activated “All midi inputs” on the Komplete Kontrol A61" and activated the monitor function on the track (I did that also before) with no result. When I start recording, no sound anymore on the chosen track and no recording at all. The MIDI signal is still working (right below on the screen)…
Ok, I found the solution on the MIDI filtering! I deactivated them all (except Sys Excl.). Thanks a lot for your help! You make my day!

As I mentioned before, only the SysEx option should be enabled for both Record and Thru in the filters. Now, you are filtering out all the enabled MIDI Message types but the Controller for recording.
