Can't resize screen horizontally nor diagonically

With a fresh wavelab 11.1 I can’t resize screen horizontally nor diagonically to make it bigger on a dual monitor system (set as extend desktop) on windows 10. Vertically works though, and making it smaller horizontally also works. I already tried the obvious stuff. Am I overlooking something? Any thoughts?

This is a showstopper, I will roll back to 11.0 if there is no solution.
