Can't save presets (macOS - C13pro)

Hi everyone,
Very familiar with Cubase but new to Mac. I’m in the process of transitioning the studio to a new Mac machine and in my last few steps, I’ve run into a hurdle. I can’t save presets in any VST effect. Ex: I import an IR into Reverance, click ‘store’, give it a name, click save. The window blinks and reappears, preset isn’t saved.

I tried saving my mixing layout in Supervision, same thing happens. Preset window blinks, stays there, preset isn’t saved.

I’m assuming it’s some sort of permissions issue but I don’t know how to resolve it. Has anyone run into this problem before?

I thought it may be because I transferred template CPR files over from a pc, so I started fresh projects and the issue persists.

Edit: I have tried the following with no success

  1. Start in safe mode - disable preferences
  2. Remove Cubase from computer using AppCleaner and going into the Library folders and removing Steinberg files.
  3. Reinstall Cubase
