Can't see wave file when recording

I am rather adept at the Steinberg products but setting up small system for my wife. Got the UR242 and Cubase that came with it. On a Mac Book and all is good except for when recording, it visually shows me a straight line, even though on record and playback I can hear perfectly. All is good, just no visual wave. Thanks

Hi,

Make sure the Create Audio Images during Record option is enabled in the Preferences > Record > Audio, please.

Thanks. I have that, considering I have been using Nuendo since 1.5 that was the first place I went. But even when done recording, there is no wave file to be seen. Appreciate the response.

Nope. But I hear it just fine.

Does Zoom In or Zoom Out help?

Can you see some filed in the Images folder at the same level as the Audio folder is?

Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?
