Can't update to Nuendo 12.0.60

When I try to update Steinberg Activation Manager or the Nuendo 12.0.60 update I get the following message:

Activation Manager setup failed.
The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.
Error Code : 1612

or

Nuendo 12 setup failed.
The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.
Error Code : 1612

The previous version has been running fine, I just wanted to update but can’t.

Windows update says I’m up to date, but I noticed the version of Windows is 21H1, and not 21H2 as shown on the Steinberg download page. Is that the problem? I can’t seem to get Windows to offer any update.

I probably deleted the original downloads (Nuendo) installation files after getting it installed (due to space). Is that the “installation source” it references, or is that the update files which are in the download folder.

When I try updating the Steinberg Download Assistant I get a pop up dialog that says “Failed to update the following components:
Steinberg Activation Manager. This can limit the functionality of the Steinberg Downad Assistant.”

I am on Mac and I downloaded directly from support and everything went fine.
You can try this link and try before contacting support

Same, no problems on Windows with Download Assistant

Hopefully the installer Rajiv posted will help you

We had no problems here either.

It is important that the “Activation Manager” and the “Library Manager” are installed and working. Otherwise Nuendo will not install.
Since the last update of Nuendo, the AM has also been updated. You may want to uninstall the AM completely and download the latest version from the Steinberg homepage.
