Just posting here, because I’m not sure it registered at Turing Opera’s site (early a.m. gets you automated replies). OK: fixing the pronunciation bug with contractions (I’ll, we’ll etc.) introduces a new one in the unlikely event that the song includes quoted text. I happened to be transcribing a Vaughan Williams setting of Butterworth:

Playback went haywire on reaching the “'Oh”, so a lightbulb went off and I deleted the apostrophe. Result: playback back to normal.

BTW I’m happy the contraction issue has been addressed: first word of this cycle is We’ll

what Cantai needs (and SynthV already has) is an option to ignore all form of punctuation, Until this is implemented, such problems are likely to continue. Although it’s also useful if common contractions are already in the dictionary.

This is a known problem. Apostrophes at the beginning or end of words cause problems. I’m sure they’re working on it.
