Car sounds "Made with Cubase"

This is my first time to post in this forum so I don’t want to incur the wrath of the Mods by linking directly to a YouTube video, but if you search for “Acoustic Innovation: e-sound” you’ll find a clip of how a certain car-maker has employed a musician to come up with the sound an electric car should make to warn pedestrians; notice he’s using Cubase!

I don’t have any connection to either the company or the musician – I just thought it was a fascinating piece and interesting to see a very different application of our favourite DAW!

well that’s pretty cool. my wife has a prius and loves to sneak up on me when I’m working in the garage… :imp:

Personally I hope the kinda sound they go for involves either Formula 1 cars or things from Star Wars. What a cool project that would be though.
