Catalina

i have WL E 9 which doesn’t work on Mac’s new Catalina. Will 10 work if I upgrade? If not when will an upgrade be available, can’t find anything about this on your website.

Thanks,

Jim

Yes, Catalina is supported.

Be aware that the third party apps (plugins for example) will need to be ‘notarized’ by Apple before a cutoff date. If they are not authorized/‘notarized’, our understanding is that Catalina will block them from working.

I have no idea what the process involves on a practical level, but a number of developers have warned me about this.
Catalina looks like it’s uncharted territory at this stage.

Wavelab Elements 10 crashes right after opening. Nothing helps. Deinstalled and reinstalled WL and eLicencer

Do you have a crash log?

Where is it located?

When a crash happens, OSX proposes you to save the log.

The part was from that log. Here is the full log:

This crash happens in some Waves plugin. I guess WaveLab tries to load an old configuration.
Try restarting while pressing the Command key.

Works bow. Thank you mate (y)
