When the key signature changes, cautionary naturals before the barline are omitted. If the new key signature has no accidentals (C major/A minor), how can I display the necessary natural accidentals after the barline instead?
I prefer the Common practice approach EXCEPT when the new key signature has no flats or sharps. Perhaps a secondary setting that allows the user to show a cancellation when the new key signature doesn’t have any signs. That would be particularly handy for pieces that have multiple key changes where the options above might not totally work.
Thanks.
“Common practice” is correct.
