CB 15 Bugs!

Anyone else having the bellow issues?

When I record tracks, it randomly bumps to another channel(I’ll be trying to record keys on a MIDI track but it’ll randomly go to an audio channel and I’m thinking “Why’s there no sound coming out when I’m playing???”:man_facepalming: it happens frequently so I’m wasting a lot of time :face_with_symbols_on_mouth: .

Another issue I have is, faders go to the max randomly on certain tracks (Midi or Audio, does not make a difference) for example Ill have the Bass at -8 and it’ll randomly spike up to 6.02 (and every time I bring the fader down it shoots back up again) and it doesn’t just happen on one channel, sometimes multiple channels SMH!

I thought it might be a controller issue but I switched devices and it still happens

I was going to suggest a controller issue..but.

Yes I’ve had this happen to me. It seems to be only one track and I’ve been getting around it by switching the track order of the track I’m working on. I’ve got two controllers connected CC121 and a Nektar LX and I assumed it was the controllers causing the problem.

I get it on multiple tracks. Are u getting both issues or just 1 of the ones ı mentioned?

I think I’m gonna uninstall and re-install. Compared to 14, start up is extremely slow too. I feel like I should’ve waited before an upgrade as this is the most problematic update I’ve ever had (and I’ve been using Cubase since it was 1st introduced as a DAW on PC, back when I had a Pentium 1 lol).

Only the jumping to another track issue.

Apart from that Cubase 15 seems solid and quiet snappy.

Another possible bug is now dragging a chord from the Circle of Fiths view. These were all different chords but once dragged I get this:

Interest to know if anyone else has the same issue?

EDIT: someone has already posted about the same issue Chordpads acting strange in C15 - #3 by T-Cup
