When record goes on it’s not erasing the original recording and just puts both in the same space…the original and the new punched in. What am I doing wrong?

Overdub in Cubasis behaves different compared to Cubase resulting in a mix of newly recorded and existing data on the same track. We are aware that this can lead to confusion in some cases and have added the topic to our list for future updates.

Is there a way to easily punch in Cubasis or is this something we just have to wait for an update?
