CB13 Missing files but no files are missing

I remotely record live sessions on my laptop. I then load those files on a USB and transfer them to my desktop and remove the USB stick ( I never open the files directly from the USB). I then open this project that’s on my desktop and split it into ten different projects that get saved onto my desktop into their own folder.
When I go to open one of these projects, it says files are missing and it points to the H drive (which is my USB), I just close this window and the project opens as normal.
I don’t know why it’s asking for these files as they are never used create the new projects or is any data ever received from this USB for these projects. Everything saves as it should and works as it should.

Hi,

Click on Browse Folder and point Cubase to the folder, where the files are sitting.

The files it’s asking for a from a completely different project and aren’t required for this project. when I click close, the project opens fine with all tracks being where they should. I’m not sure why it’s asking for files from a different project that were never associated with this particular project.

I just checked my drive where 28 Aug 2024 folder is and these files don’t exist in that folder either. There are no folders on my P.C with those names. None of my projects are missing any files.

Hi,

If the files are not in use in the Project, but they appear here, they might still be available in the Pool (as not used). Double-check Pool, if the files are mentioned there. If yes, remove them from the Pool by Remove unused media, please.
