[CBT-1411] Glue tool does'nt work

Hello Steinberg!

Glue tool doesn’t work:
-starting with a MIDI clip. lets call it [AC]
-split this clip in half, getting two clips [A] and [C]
-erase clip [A]
-only [C] remains there
-copy / paste [C] in front of himself, getting [C][C]
-select both clips and apply ‘‘Glue’’ tool .

  • first [C] unexpectedly disappears and instead of getting [CC], we are left with a [C] only

Could you check, please?

I gave your issue a short repro (iPad Pro 12.9" 1st Gen), but are unable to reproduce it:

This might be related due to using the latest 3.0.1 release candidate, where glue fixes are included.
Cubasis 3.0.1 is planned to be released shortly.

Hopefully this fix comes already within 3.0.1 .
Just for the sake of it, I’m using IPad 2019 ( 7th gen ) .

Firstly, well done on getting this release out. C3 now feels a lot lighter and snappier than C2 and most of the bugs I was experiencing seem to be fixed. However, glue still seems broken to me. I’ve made a little video to demo it…

Expected behaviour: the playback should sound the same after the glue operation
Actual behaviour: Cubasis seems to delete the second clip and expand the first

Glad to read that Cubasis 3.0.1 seems to address several of your issues.
