Hi. I am having issues with editing CC1 and CC11 data in the MIDI part (Key Editor). I want to do it in Key Editor.
Windows 11, Cubase 14. Using a Korg nanoKONTROL2. I set 2 of my faders to control QC1 and QC2. And in the Track Inspector I am assigning CC1 and CC11 to QC1 and QC2 respectively.
Using EW OPUS.
So far so good. In the CC automation Setup Menu, every CC is set to be registered as MIDI part. However it is not. It is being registered as automation. I really would like to edit CC in the Key editor.
I see there are a ton of CC options in the QC panel. Is there anything there that could be causing this? I am using the CCs under ‘MIDI Channel’, ‘All CCs’.
It seems OPUS created a bunch more of CCs, they are under the ‘Opus’ category in the QC list. I am thinking the issue could be here. This is what the MIDI CCs under ‘Opus’ look like:
That thing goes all the way to MIDI 15|129, like so:
MIDI 0|1
MIDI 0|2
…
MIDI 1|1
MIDI 1|2
…
Any ideas? In the meantime I am using the automation lanes but I’m really not a fan. There must be something off.
