I recently bought a CC121, and it works great. The trouble is I’m unable to register the copy of Cubase AI5 that came with it, because there was no registration code card in the box. What should I do? I have a license for Cubase 6. Is there any way to extract an AI license from it and store it on a separate dongle?
Didn’t LCC generate a # after AI5 install? You use that to D/L a license.
The only license that got generated was a temporary 30-day e-License.
My bad. I got the permanent license by activating via Steinberg website and entering the hardware serial number. Permanent license now on the dongle.
Didn’t realize the procedure was so different from all the others, since the hardware purchase was involved.
