CD burners not being seen

I have just had to re-install windows and therefore every thing else including WL7 and while everything seems to work ok neither my plextor premium or my pioneer DVR-112D is showing up in WL. Never had a problem before with burners (even from WL4 days!)

any thoughts?

Maybe this is an installation problem. I advise to download “Driver_Installer_x86_x64.exe”
from this page:

and run it.
