CD text in Wavelab 8

Hello – I’m new to Wavelab, so please forgive me if I’m making any beginner’s mistakes. In creating a montage to assemble a CD, I’ve used the Functions > Edit CD Text option in the CD window to enter CD text for the album and for each individual track. However, when I burn the CD to disc and then try to open the CD in, say, iTunes or Windows Media Player, there is no CD text; the tracks show up as the default “Track 1,” Track 2," etc.

For what it’s worth, I’m using Wavelab 8.0.3 build 698 on a Lenovo IdeaPad Y500, running Windows 8.1, with a Matshita BD-MLT UJ262 drive.

Thanks for any insight you can provide!
Best,
Joe

Oh, and yes, the “Enable CD-Text Writing” option is checked in the Edit CD-Text dialog box.

Ah – just found some very interesting and helpful reading:

I didn’t realize that iTunes and other computer applications do not read CD-Text. My mistake!
