Cello not playing high pitch and tremolo issue on Dorico 6

Hello,

I just got Dorico 6.2.30.6245, and I noticed that the Cello Combi can’t play not higher that G5.
I tried with HSO cello solo and it can’t play it neither but it play tremolo on long notes.

How to fix it?

You can see the ranges of the factory libraries (HSO and Iconica Sketch) from play mode, opening/editing the instrument by clicking on the E symbol:

If you need those notes you may want ro use a different library (with an appropriate Expression Map), or use Note Performer (which has not range limits for all its patches)

How did you switch to cello solo? If you just switched the Expression Map, if the EM doesn’t mach the patch/library settings, it will for sure give unexpected results. The best way to set/correct playback issues, is to (re)apply the Playback Template.

Anyway I was not able to reproduce the tremolo issue. From a screenshot is impossible to see your complete setup: please post a file that demonstrate this.
