I’ve got a bunch of 9-lets (to coin a word)
… and I want to make them 3 sets of triplets instead. Is there a way?
I t wouldn’t be the end of the world if I had to re-enter them.

- Engage Insert.
- Select… filter… Delete the tuplets.
- Recreate each 3:2x (select the 1st note ; 3 enter)
- Repeat…
- Disengage Insert
(I’ve not found a way to do it any quicker)

Brilliant. Thanks, both. I can never remember which way round Insert works for what I need to do to edit tuplets.
Of course, everything after this gets shoved forwards, but if it’s done correctly, everything should go back into the right place…!

How do you do this?
Just ‘Select All’ and then insert the tuplet normally? Or do you need to specify ‘3:2x’ (or 3:2s’, don’t remember)?
Since the tuplet popover is by default populated with 3:2 and you’re selecting sixteenth, in this case you just have to open the popover and type Enter, it creates 3:2x!
