Whenever I try to print my file (I click on “Print”), it automatically goes to A4 format, for each file that I start. How can I change this default so that it is Letter? I go into Layout Options, but and I change it to Letter there but it doesn’t change this format. I have to Print in the lower left, and then in Page Attributes change it from A4 to Letter.
How can I globally change the “Page Attributes” so that it is Letter?
Are you printing to a printer, or to PDF (graphics export)?
If you’re printing to a printer, then you should be able to pick the size paper you want from the Print screen.
You can also set Preferences > General > Default paper size type to North American, and then the print screen should default to Letter.
If you’re exporting to PDF, then the page size which displays on the Print screen doesn’t matter at all – the PDF will always be created at the size specified in Layout Options.
