Change Activation manager settings

Hello, the activation manager keeps asking me to buy a license…

  1. i have already purchased the license and now the entry is duplicated
  2. i will not buy the programs that i have not bought yet in the near future
How can I delete or deactivate these entries, it’s really annoying

Hi,

there are no settings that allow you to delete or deactivate those obsolete entries. They will remain there for quite some time even though you might have bought the product in the meantime as you can see with “Cubase Pro 13”.

The only way to get rid of these entries is to open a support ticket asking Steinberg to remove those entries for you.

I’m afraid there’s no other way.

You can switch to the “Activated” view. This way the expired trials will not be displayed.

Yes, that’s a very quick and elegant way to hide these unwanted entries. However, there’s one tiny problem: Each time you start the Steinberg Activation Manager it will default to the “All Products” view so you have to actively change the view. I was under the impression that the OP wanted to get rid of these entries for good. Maybe I misread the OP’s intention, that may very well be the case

If I can use the programs, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Hello, I’ve already tried all that.
I don’t understand how it can be that I have cubase 2x and I’m almost asked to buy wavelab every time I start cubase, that’s totally annoying.
Also that vst live 1 is no longer activated, I bought this program.
If someone from steinberg reads this, please correct my account sttings. BR

You need to open a support ticket.

That is probably included in the vst 2 license, it makes no sense to show every single previous release.

You have just one license, the trial license you had before is expired. That is all, just ignore it because your paid license is active.

My post was not meant to be a correction of yours, just an alternative. Apparently not a very good one.

All good!
Even if it had been a correction I would have been fine with it - that’s the only way to go forward and to learn something  Moreover, the way you contribute to a topic is always nice and respectful - something that I don’t take for granted. So thanks for your post above, much appreciated. Nevertheless, it was all good in the first place!
