Hello all,
I’m looking to change the appearance of a half note so it looks like a whole note. The duration will remain the same. I tried to make a new notehead set but I can’t seem to figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
You could hide the stem?
In Engrave mode, select the notehead (so not the actual stem), and in the Properties panel switch the Hide stem property.
I’m not sure why you need this, but as an alternative method you could also enter a 2:1h tuplet, enter a whole note and hide the tuplet number:
(In terms of noteheads this method is probably more accurate since it will give you an actual whole note).

So you want it to look like a whole not but sound only half its duration?
You can do that in Play Mode: Steinberg
