Change Barline Type for 2 or More Barlines Simultaneously

Good morning!

How do I change the barline type for 2 or more barlines simultaneously?
Windows 11 Pro.

I’ve tried several things, none worked.
I tried selecting barlines then clicking on the barline type in the right panel (can’t remember what it’s called…)

I don’t think you can, but you can change one, then alt/opt-click it to the other places. You can also change the default barline in Notation Options.

Hi @bilo20, beside the suggestion above, you can also load the mouse pointer and apply the loaded item multiple times by simple clicking. Press ESC when you are finished (to unload the mouse). Here the preferences that you need to activate/choose:

Thanks for the quick replies, all is well!

None of this is, unfortunately, what I want. It should be as simple as applying an articulation to all selected notes. Select a range of bars, choose the bar line style, and be done with it. I guess they don’t consider educators, who need things like this.

I think your last sentence is unnecessary, and incorrect. Of course they consider educators.

Yes, there are other ways this could have been implemented, and perhaps some of them are simpler. But it’s really no big deal to insert one double barline, select it, and then Alt/Opt+click on all the other places where you want it. (You actually want to aim for slightly after the destination barlines, just inside the bar.)

Like it… A Feature Request.?
