Ho can I change the playback of gradual dynamics? The decrescendo to n sounds fine but the crescendo from n<ff doesn’t playback at all.
This does ring a bell. I think there’s another thread about that (from before the Finale shutdown, I suppose, then my memories with the overwhelmed forum are blurred).

Here it is. But it’s with NotePerformer and has been corrected since. Unless you are using an old version 
Apparently, reading that thread again, HALion does not have that problem. Which VSTi do you use?
I don’t know which VSTi. I use Hallion 7 and the latest Dorico Pro version.
Ahh I just realised that the > and < don’t work at all with my self made sample instrument. The long note where it worked had a tremolo. Do you know how to set up the Halion instrument to do gradual dynamics in Dorico?
I suppose your VSTi is HALion Sonic 7 then! That’s weird : @dspreadbury wrote that this problem doesn’t happen with it. Something must be wrong there. Can you share the file? It would get solved way faster…
I assume the problem is in my Halion instrument. I made it myself and I don’t know how to implement the gradual dynamics
I suppose you must set the dynamics to cc1 and cc11?

got it. I forgot it in the expression map in Dorcio. Now it works. Thanks!
