Change mediabay “rating” item leads to disappearing it from list

Hi!

I searched a forum and found this:

change mediabay "rating" > item disapear from list

changing “rating” in mediabay search result erase item from list this happens in full window mediabay and docked mediabay i have to redo the search to get the rated items back in my list, As my library is quiet big it takes times each time very annoying when you are trying to audition and rate quickly sounds NOTE : i have already scanned my whole library before (selected only my soundbank folder and let cubase scan it for a night)

Exact the same situation with my Cubase 11 and
It’s all ok with my drives and locations.

Hi,
I have that too.
The quickest solution I found was pressing reset filter (the |<< button next to Logical and Attribute at the top). This only works though if you only have put a search term and haven’t specified any filter attributes.
If you have some filters active, you can change - for instance - the sub category and change it back. So then your search isn’t lost and the ones you changed the rating are back.

It’s a work around though, seems to be a bug to me.

I’ve enjoyed C11 until I found these serious problems in Mediabay and Media Rack (right zone of Project window). When I put some words to search files, for example “explosion”, and the results are shown as usual. But if I rate some files with the asterisks (*), those files are suddenly DISAPPEARED!! If I push ‘update results’ button, those rated files are shown again with the exact number of asterisks that I put but if I change the number of asterisks, those files are disappeared again. Stran…

Hi again, I think it’s fixed with todays update.
(Release notes say “Rating media files in the MediaBay no longer let entries in the result list disappear afterwards”, it works for me now)
