CHANGE OF OS

Hi. I got a question about changing to a new pc. I currently use a del vostro desktop pc running windows xp 32bit sp3. I want to upgrade to a windows 7 64bit os and not sure if I can run my current verion of cubase whitch is version 5.5.

Will i have to upgrade to a 64bit version? or will it just be a straight forward change?

No, Cubase 5.5.3 is already available in 64-bit.

Additionally, if I were you and had the funds ($199), I would upgrade to the latest and begin from scratch!

You can run CB 5.5 in W7 successfully but Steiny won’t support it. You would have to get your support from from the users here on the forum.
