I noticed when working with Note Velocity in the bottom lane of the Key Editor always all the notes are affected, even when having preselected only specific notes in the piano roll beforehand. A setting in the Preferences would be nice to only allow making velocity changes to the current selection with the drawing tool. I know I can Ctrl+Shift + drag, but it is no the same as all the notes are affected the same way. The drawing tool works a lot faster and more importantly allows for much greater flexibility in different ranges of velocity.
