is there a quick way to change (logical) rhythm figures into triplets?

You should be able to use Insert mode for this relatively easily: turn on Insert mode (press I), then turn the notes into the durations you’d want them to be under the tuplets, then tupletify them. Deactivate Insert mode afterwards.
Because Insert mode pushes/pulls all subsequent material in the affected voices after the “edit location”, if they end up taking up more/less rhythmic space, that would affect where subsequent notes happen in later bars etc. So if you wanted to be doubly safe, you could copy these bars to a separate flow, transform them there, then paste them back into location here without Insert mode at all.
