Quite often I do stereo and 5.1 mixes - so after finishing the stereo I will load a new output configuration to move onto 5.1. This resets all my tracks to ‘no buss’. To make my life easier going to 5.1, I use a lot of groups. At the moment it’s not possible to filter the mixer console to groups and globally select those groups (say to set the output to them all) without impacting everything other track that is filtered out between them.
Does anyone else think the ability to globally update just the filtered tracks would be a big workflow enhancement?
I appreciate this might be technically tricky to implement though for the techies…
