Change selected track colours only works once…

Select a few tracks.
Press alt shift C to invoke change colors of selected tracks.
Change color - works!
Select some other tracks.
Press alt shift C to invoke change colors of selected tracks.
Change color - NO LONGER WORKS…
Have to restart program to get it working again (once).

Hi,

It works for me here in Cubase 14.0.40 on macOS 15.

Hi Martin - sorry did not mention I am on Windows 11…

Working fine here on Windows 11 latest and Cubase 14.0.40.

You cannot reproduce?
It works multiple times?
Mine works once and then no longer works…

Hi,

Could you describe step-by-step with much more details?

Where exactly is the focus? What kind of track is selected (Audio, MIDI, Instrument, Folder, Group, Signature, Output, …)? Is really the track selected, or any Event/Part on the track? How do you close the Colorize Selected Track window?

Yes, did it multiple times without a restart. Select a group of tracks, Alt-Shift C to choose a colour. Then select a different geoup of tracks, Alt-Shift C to choose a colour, etc.

Have you tried starting Cubase with preferences disabled?

Yes I tried this - no change.
Seems that this feature only works when the Arr window is focussed?
I can invoke the color dialog from mixer window (when mixer is focus) but changes to colors do not work unless arr window is focussed…
Is that how it is supposed to work?

Hi,

So your report changed from “works only once” to “works only in the Project window”, right?

Yes, this command is working in the Project window only.
