I recorded an audio piano piece decades ago and want to make a midi version. I see that I had started, but it sounds more choppy than the original. So I have a Yamaha VFP2 sustain pedal and realized I could add sustain to the midi piano. I did a test record and it worked, but I wonder if I can move the data points . I don’t see grid turned on in either the main page or the edit, but I can’t seem to drag them. Can they be moved?
You have to select the point you want to move.
Then you can either drag it (turn off the snap feature) or edit it’s ‘Start’ in the info bar.
It’s not that easy, but it can be done.
It’s probably easier to practice recording the pedal and do it live…
Since the rhythm of the piano LH is the same all through, I will get one good measure, playing the pedal and copy to the rest. but I am curious about your screen as I don’t se those numbers. Is that a different version of cubase?
