Hi all, just purchased Cubase 6.5.Excellent program!
I have a recording project of a live band.
I want to simply change the tempo and preserve the pitch and quality /original sound ( as best as I can)
I have gone into TIME STRETCH / ALGORITHM and chosen ‘elestique pro pitch’.Then changed the BPM in ‘RESULTING LENGTH’ box.
This gave me a good result.
Since doing this I have been told this is not the ‘right way to do it’, and that it is best to change tempo by going into MEDIA /OPEN POOL WINDOW then TEMPO TRACK EDITOR.
What would be the best way to achieve what I want?
