As you can see in this screenshot, I am having issues where the number 4 appears twice. Can anyone help me remove it?

I can’t replicate this problem from scratch. Is the upper 4 individually selectable? If so, you might be able to ascertain what it is from the Properties Panel.
If you delete the 4-bar repeat what happens? Can you delete then re-enter it successfully?
If none of the above helps, we’ll probably need to get a copy of your project file to check.
