Is there a setting that let’s you change the order of vertical importance in case of chord symbols/dynamics/rehearsal marks etc?
In this case I would prefer the chord symbols to stay just above the soprano line and have the forte marking be above it. Is such a thing possible?
There’s not really a way to do this with settings. The forte belongs closer to the notehead anyway. Your Engraving Options / Dynamics / Vertical Position / Above the Staff / Minimum distance above staff for immediate dynamics setting looks to be very large though. You certainly could reduce that a bit which will bring everything down a touch.
To correct the poor positioning in the first 3 bars, I would just drag-select all the chord symbols in those bars and Ctrl+Alt+Arrow them down in Engrave. Gif below:
