I want to be able to quickly jump from one track to another or change the instrument in a library in one track in CB 8 Pro with one or two keystrokes and avoiding the mouse.
I get very confused with Generic Remote, Logical Editor, whether I need an external keypad like Novation Launchpad or Akai APC, or Metagrid for iPad, or another keyboard like Cherry POS that enables constructing macros that Cubase understands for each keypad to accomplish my tasks above.
It appears now to my pea brain now that all I need to do is to construct Cubase macros based upon Cubase key commands for my existing PC keyboard and that’s it. And I assume there are sufficient Cubase key commands to do this.
Am I correct ?
