changing duration of a whole section of music

I have a large section of music in 12/8 time and I want to change it all to 4/4 and have the dotted eighths become quarter notes and the eighth notes become eighth triplets. I can’t seem to find a way to do this and would appreciate any suggestions.

Welcome to the forum, sethg. This kind of transformation (from simple time to compound time or vice versa) is something that still has to be done manually at the moment. Hopefully we will be able to implement some automatic support for this in future, as it’s certainly something people need to do from time to time.
