I have just moved all my third party samples to a new SSD drive. Is there a simple way of re-directin Haion 7 to the new path? I originally uploaded my FXP files via my old version of Halion 3 if thats any help. The library manager is fine for dealing with Steinberg libararies but no good for my own samples. Surely ther must be a simple destination button within the frame work of HAlion7 itself or do I have go through them one by one and change the programmes manualy when I see the “Missing files” dialogue box? BTW what is a bit odd is that HAlion 7 doesn’t show in my library manager but thats another story.
Hi John_springate,
in the “Find Missing Samples” dialog one can define a “Favorite Search Path”. Click on the folder icon next to the red arrow (see screenshot), choose your new sample path and click on the folder with the green plus icon to add the path to the favorite list. That should do the trick.
Hi Gerrit many thanks. I totally missed that dialogue box. this makes life a lot easier. Also I found with Halion 7 it seems to automatically start searching for the missing files which is very handy.
