Changing Key Signature issues, after importing MIDI from Cubase

I imported from Cubase, in MIDI format. Dorico generated a Key signature with 3xb, as in C minor. I changed it to B minor with 2x#. But there are so many accidentals now, with almost every note: Cb, Gb, Db, etc…
So I want to force the notes to the Key Signature. After searching for the right command for about two hours, I decided to call for help here! Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

The midi notes are imported and do not really care about the key signature… So what is wrong in Dorico with their pitch should be already wrong in Cubase. I think I will discard this hypothesis.

One thing I don’t understand clearly in your post: are there only three flats, or ten? In that case, it would be Cb minor, which is indeed the same as Bm. In that case, selecting all the notes and pressing the key combination to use the enharmonic equivalent should solve the issue.

On my keyboard, to change to the enharmonics with sharps, I press alt+the key at the right or the zero (that’s the one that you use to write flats)

[Edit] I was not able to get Dorico to the state where it shows Cb minor key signature… that’s why I’ve been modifying this answer many times.

You cannot “force the notes to the key signature” in Dorico, but what you can do to change pitches automatically is to use the shift-i popover. For instance, to change all Cb to B in a selection, invoke the shift-i popover, write cb=b enter and all C flats will be respelled as B. You can use this to repitch, not only respell. And you can do that for different notes in one go : cb=b, gb=f#, db=c# enter will respell those three notes.

Actually you can.

If the key signature is (say) one flat. Select the notes and do Shift-I spell F M. or Shift-I spell D m

Thanks for you reply, Janus. Still I didn’t get the right result. Let me explain.
The peace starts in B minor. I changed the key signatur from what Dorico automatically generated (which was 3xb, like for C minor) into two sharps for B minor.
I notice that the wrong notes are written. Example: instead of B, F(# from the key signature, not as accidental before the note) and G, I see Cb, Gb and Abb. Those are notes from the Cb minor key, instead of B minor.
I select all the notes in the first six bars, press Shift+I and write “B minor” in the small appearing window, press enter and see that nothing changes. I also tried spelling “Bminor” and “Bm” and “B m”, but still no result. Still, after every action, I can read in the Edit menu “Undo Transformation”, which means that some kind of transformation should have taken place, but nothing that I can see…
Did I do something wrong?
Ooh, I just tried again, selecting all notes > Shift+I > “spell B m” and this works indeed!! so the notation must therefore be performed very precisely> But it works! Problem soved for now.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, DEAR Janus. A great releaf, since the musicians are waiting for the score…

One never ceases to learn… Shift-i is my all-time favourite popover ! :folded_hands::folded_hands::folded_hands:
