Changing note spacing mid piece

Hi. I’m trying to change the note spacing of a part in the middle of the piece. I believe its possible, but it doesn’t seem to work. I go the ENGRAVE mode, select the NOTE SPACING icon on the left, the click on the note handle where I want the change to occur. I then go up to the ENGRAVE menu and select NOTE SPACING CHANGE …, but nothing happens. I though a dialogue box was supposed to open. Am I doing something wrong?

No, you need to be in Engrave mode Graphic Editing mode (the one with a note icon): then you can select a note in the score where you want your Note Spacing Change to start, then you can choose NSP from the Engrave menu.
