Hi, is there a convenient way to change 6-tuplets to triplets? See attached pic.
I only know one way : engage insert mode, delete the 6:4x tuplet, use the caret to be at the start of the new tuplet and input a 3:2e tuplet. Quit insert mode.
Thanks, I know that one but if messes with everything after this. And I have to untie the notes first and tie them again afterwards. Unfortunately I have about 30 of these in the score.
Untie,
Fix one of the instances,
Copy and paste to the 29 places in your score.
Adjust the pitches.
Just an idea: there is a way to avoid using Insert mode and removing the ties, etc: enter triplets 3:3e within the sextuplets, after which you can Alt‑click them in Chord Mode, and hide the -6-'s.
It doesn’t really change them to triplets, but at least it gives the the proper rhythmic notation.
But if you plan to export your project in xml, I think you should avoid this kind of workaround!
