I’m really struggling with changing the song order late in the project. I delivered masters and then after that the client decided they wanted the songs in a different order. I’ve read that if you bind your markers to your songs from the start they’ll stay with them if you move the order. But if I haddn’t done that and if I bind them after creating them chaos ensues when I change the song order. The markers get moved with songs (not the last end marker but that’s ok). The problem is that doing so erases all my song meta data. And if the end song is moved forward, it doesn’t have a spice maker or an end marker. So even though the makers move, its still all a mess. But the worst part is loosing the meta data.

Did you try simply drag and drop from the album window?
Ah! That worked thanks! I didn’t realise you could drag them in the album view because if you drag immediately it just multi-selects them. You have to hold the mouse down for a while before dragging for it to work. That’s not the case in the clips view which is where I was doing it. But problem solved, all seem to work fine in the album view thanks again.
