i was wondering if someone could give me some pointers on how to slow down a track. i have a client that would like to take some minus tracks and slow them down a bit. what is the easiest way to do this but keep the best sound quality possible? i figure this should be easy but maybe not?

You can use time stretch in Wavelab. Depending on what is in your mix results will vary. I have not done this with wavelab 7 but used to with earlier versions. I can only guess that it works a bit better now.
Guitars, cymbals and reverbs do not fair well from this kind of treatment.
Turn on musical mode for the track and adjust the tempo on the transport.
