Changing the Default

Good morning,

I would like to know if it is possible to assign a VST audio system profile by default in Cubase ?

Indeed, each time I start Cubase, no matter if I an existing or new project, the system choses “built in audio”, whereas I use an Onyx 400F interface (the Onyx 400F is On when I boot Cubase).

So I have to change from “built in” to “Onyx 400F” in Devices / Device Set up / Audio System,
and it is rather annoying (as sometimes i have big volume jumps!).

This did not happen in Cubase SX2, I now use Mac Intel Core 2.8 GHZ, OSX 10.6.8 and Cubase Artist, 6.0.5.

Thank you for your support and ideas.

Try using a template?

I wouldn’t call 3:41 pm as “morning”, but I’m known to be narrow-minded :stuck_out_tongue:
(sorry for extream off-topic comment)

Now … on-topic: I don’t think Cubase should behave like this. There must be something wrong. If not solved quickly I recommend contacting Steinberg directly.
