"changing the DIGITAL MODE will halt the UR824"

Hey Guys, as (maybe) some of you saw and my other thread, I just upgraded my Desktop PC (today I will install everything). But since almost all my USB port are now USB 3 I’m kind of worry about this:

When using UR824 on Windows, changing the DIGITAL MODE while audio input/output is active (i.e. while a DAW is running) will halt the UR824. We assume that the USB 3.0 controller on the Intel chipset finds something “illegal” in the process of switching the DIGITAL MODE and then stops communicating. We will continue to investigate this.

Does anyone knows if there’s any news about this?

Hi Distante,

I don’t know what “changing the digital mode” means.

I connect my UR824 to a USB3 port on my laptop and it works perfectly.

Steve.

Well so far I didn’t have any trouble. :bulb:
