Changing the key of the score or a part of it seems to be complicated

Is there a really simple way to transpose? I don’t wanna transpose only the key. Why would I? I wanna transpose the notes too. The whole thing.
But it doesn’t seem like a simple task. For example going from D major to Db major consumed a lot of my time. Mainly because it keeps transposing to C# major. I ended up eventually using Shift-K popup to finally get the Db key signature and then used the option-down arrow to move the notes half step down.
Please help!

Thank you!

The Transpose dialog is very extensive:

See the Calculate interval section. Enter in your desired transposition, press Apply, and Dorico will set the required options for you.

Thank you!
No matter what I do it still transposing to C# major from D major when I need it Db major

Can you screenshot your settings before you close the dialog?

Also - try a diminished unison rather than a minor second (if you haven’t already).

PS

Did you mean to type C# Major?

Yes, sorry! C#

Are you transposing by an augmented unison (same letter names, half step lower) instead of a minor second?

I knew I was going to type the wrong one.

Using Diminished Unison messes it up even more.

And how about Augmented Unison?

Try using ‘Number of Divisions’ and select -1/12. That seems to work.
