Changing the midi tempo track

Hi Guys,

I can’t remember for the life of me how to change the midi tempo.
Example: Say I have the tempo at 80 bpm. After I have the finished midi track, what do I
have to do to change the tempo to say 130 bpm?

I’ve tried changing the tempo track to 130 bpm but the tempo remains at 80. I know I’m missing
something basic but it’s been a while since I’ve worked with my sequecer.

I’m sorry for the newbie question but would appreciate some help.

Hey Mark.

It’s all explained on p453 of the user manual much better than I can.
Essentially, use the tempo track and make sure you are syncing to it from the transport & that the MIDI track in question is set to musical base rather than linear time base…

It’s been a long time. Glad to see your still here and helping out as usual. I’ll check out the manual
as you suggested. As I said, I’ve forgotten quite a bit using my sequencer. Been studying film for
the past few years.
