Changing the string settings for fretted instruments

I am trying to use an ethnic tuning for the 5-string banjo. Dorico has the open G tuning as the standard. I have been able to adjust the strings to the double C tuning, but I haven’t been able to import that to my project.

Got any ideas on how to proceed?

I’m not sure what the process entails. What I’ve done is change the pitch on the strings and tried to save it. A pop up said I couldn’t save to that file, so I tried to export it. That’s w here I try to “import it back to my project.

I’ve also been able to alter the chord formations, but they don’t seem to be in the chord library.

Thanks for asking about my issue. I’m sure Dorico can do this but I’m missing something.
