Changing the style of a tie

Hi, in write mode on a long note with several ties, if I change tie style to dashed in the properties panel only the first tie will change. Shouldn’t all the selected ties change style?

Same here in WRITE mode, but in ENGRAVE mode it works properly.
I guess one question is whether the tie style option should appear in both places; but if so, it should work the same in both.

I think in write mode it should change all the selected ties, they are the same note. Then in engrave you could change just a single one if you like.

Yes, I agree it should work like this, but for various boring and technical reasons it’s a little tricky to make it happen that way at the moment. We hope to be able to resolve this in the relatively near future.
