Changing the velocity of a note within a MIDI region

I’m using Steinberg’s Electric Bass VST and would like to adjust the velocity of a note inside a MIDI region, rather than the velocity of the notated note the region is attached to.

For example, I have a notated G♯2, and by adding an E5 inside a MIDI region I can trigger an authentic slide into the next note. The velocity of that MIDI-region note (the E5) determines how the slide is performed.

Is there a way to edit the velocity of a MIDI-region note so I can control the slide behaviour?

Hi @rraby, you can specify the velocity in parenthesis after the note name, in the popover. For example: E5(112)
