I have a 4/4 then one bar 3/4 and then 4/4. All the music is already written. I now want to make the 3/4 bar also a 4/4 bar. When I delete the 3/4 signature the bar still has 3 beats… How can I make it into a bar with four beats?
If you want Dorico to add a rest at the end of the bar, turn on Insert mode (hit I) before deleting the 3/4 time signature. If you want Dorico to move all the following music back, don’t turn on Insert mode but delete the following 4/4 time signature too (the one in the third bar).
